Project Name is Sales and Rental System in C# and MySql

Hello… I am Philip Cesar Garay, an IT student from Philippines and I am the who developed Sales and Rental System using C#.NET and MySQL Server as back end. This project is usefull for DVD shop. In this project there is two options, one is DVD shop owner can sell DVD’s to their customers and he can give DVD for rent. This is nice project for C# developers and its referred from planet source code.

Sales and Rental System

In this project we can connect database using mySQL connector. In MySQL connector user have to enter server name, port number, user id, password and database.

Main Features of this Project:

* the system has the capabilities to send email to there customer.

* Sales Order, Sales Return, Sales Delivery, Purchase Order, Purchase Order return and etc.

* can import from listview to excel.

* the system has a built -in Scheduler(Calendar scheduler like MS OUTLOOK).

Library Management System

Project name is C# Library Management System is developed on latest technology. Library Management Software is capable to manage all the functionalities of a library. The features of Library management system are login, register, add category, add / remove book, search / issue book, return book, etc. This project is developed using C#.NET and Microsoft SQL Server. This is mini project and you have to implement some additional features in this project. Complete project with screenshot explained in this page.

User has to enter valid user id and password to log in Library Management Software

 

Manage Categories

If user logon with valid id and password he gets action screen

Manage Categories and Add/Remove Books is available for admin user which exists in system after installation. As of now no new user created will be admin.

Admin user available in system at start is admin with password as admin

 

Search and Issue Books

Search/Issue Books screen accessed from actions screen, in this screen search and issue is done. First user enters the criteria for book searching and a book is successfully find than user can select the book he wishes to get issued in grid and get it issued.

Maximum number of books allowed for issue is 3

 

Add Books or remove books

For adding there should be at least one category

 

Books can be removed, all books in system are shown in Remove books section user can use Remove button to remove books after setting Quantity to be removed of book selected.

Return books

Return book shows all books issued to user and user can select book that he wishes to return

It takes more time for administrator to maintain all the records of the employees manually. Since salary calculation is done manually, lot of mistakes may occur.

Why the particular topic is chosen

Objective & scope of the project

The main purpose of Staff Management is to reduce the manual operation required to maintain all the records of Employees. And also generates the various reports for analysis. The purpose of Staff Management is to perform monthly salary generation, Attendance, leave sanctions of the employees and to perform search regarding various categories within less time. It reduces the human effort by making everything computerized.

This Application works in Multiple PC’s installed on multiple Computers but sharing same database by which users of different department can use it sitting at different locations simultaneously. But in the future we can publish this application in web. Hence it works more Convenient.

The main reason for choosing this topic is to reduce the time and complexity of maintaining the records and also to easily perform the task of book keeping. It also helps in accurate maintenance of employee details and calculating their salary.

Methodology

The Staff Management software is used by 2 types of user’s i.e. Admin and Staff. Admin has full Access to the software whereas Staff has limited Access. Software starts with a login form where Admin can login by entering the username and corresponding password. If the user name and password matches then ADMIN is directed to the Admin Master page and Employees will be directed to User Master Page.

Modules

  • Staff: – In this module, Admin enters the staff details like his personal information as well as his salary information like ta, da, etc. Admin also can update and delete the staff details.
  • Salary: – Admin will set the salary details like da,hra,cca,spf etc for the corresponding year and which will reflect for all the staffs. Admin will generate the salary of all staffs together in a month. Admin also can update, delete the Salary details.
  • Leaves:-Staffs can apply for leaves which will be sanctioned by the Admin. Staff can view the status of leaves whether it is sanctioned or not. Leaves also effects the Salary of Staff.
  • Attendance: Staffs need to put Attendance Everyday which will calculate the working days of the staff in a month. Attendance also affects the Salary of staff. Admin can view Attendance of all the Staffs whereas Staff could view his own attendance.
  • Reports:-Admin can generate salary slip of individual Staff as well as Monthly Salary Report of all the Staffs can be generated.
  • Settings: – In this module Admin provides login details for Staff. Admin can also change the password. Admin views the login details of Staff and also generates details of government holidays.

Chennemane is a traditional folk game. It is played on a wooden board with two parallel rows of pits. Nowadays all the games are computerized but Chennemane is left out. So we are implementing this in computer to spread over the world.

Brief Description

1. On his turn a player distributes the contents of one of his holes in the ensuing holes, one by one, in a counterclockwise direction. If the last seed falls into an occupied hole and the next hole is empty, the contents of the succeeding hole are lifted. Now another player gets the opportunity to play. If he gets only one seed, it is called “Puyinka” else it’s known as “Bule”.

2. If the last seed in hand is placed into a murte, its contents become wanasu (“meal”), that is, all four seeds are captured and put in the player’s store.

3. Afterwards the player continues his move by distributing the seeds of the following hole.

4. The move ends when the last seed is placed in an empty hole, when the hole following a wanasu is empty or after an atappe play.

5. The game is played until a player can demonstrate at his turn that in four consecutive draws he does not have to place a seed in one of his opponent’s holes. That player wins the seeds that are still remaining on the board.

6. The player who captured more seeds has won the round.

7. The successive rounds are played by filling the holes on the player’s side with his winnings.

8. The game is over when at the end of three rounds. The winner will be the one who captures more number of seeds. The phrase to claim victory is poli maipunu (“plunder”).

The game is for two players.
1. The object of the game is to give each player 28 manjutti beads.

2. The first player, who wins the toss puts in each circular hole (‘mane’ or ‘home’) even number (say 4) of beads at a time and continue till u run out of your beads.

3. And then if you are left with odd numbers of beads in one of the holes those beads go to your opponent player and vice versa.

4. The person ends with all the opponents’ beads or more number of beads is the winner!

Chenne mane game SRS

Introduction

Chennemane is a traditional folk game of Dakshina Kannada. In this project we are going to implement the game and preserve the traditionalism of our Tulunadu. It is concerned with playing the game on PC and receiving the SMS alerts about the scores, milestones created by a respective player. The output of the Requirement Specification is the “Software Requirement Specification” (SRS).

The SRS is a document, which describes completely the external behavior of the software.  It is the first and foremost work of a software developer to study the system to be developed and specify the user requirements before going for the designing part.

Purpose

The purpose of the project is to spread a folk game throughout the world and to popularize “Chennemane game” among the people of current and upcoming generation. As there isn’t any existing system to play the game, our main aim is to give a platform to this declining folk-game.

Implementation of Chennemane game is a solution to popularize this game among youths.

  • Implementation of the Chennemane is helpful for learners to learn the game using “Training mode” (Demo).
  • When a player registers, his account will be created and his performance will be recorded.
  • If the existing record (maximum score) is broken, then an SMS alert will be sent to the previous record holder and provokes him to reclaim his old record.

Scope

The proposed project will implement the Chennemane game on PC and helps to play the game without using the traditional board and coins (seed called “Manjutti”).

The project will:

  1. Provide the user (players) to secure his account using ‘username’ and ‘password’.
  2. Store, update and display the score of each player, during the course of the game.
  3. Compare the score scored in the last match and an SMS alert is sent to the previous record holder, if a new record is created.

Constraints

 General Constraints

The score of every player is recorded only after the completion of each and every game.

Definition, acronyms, abbreviation

Login: Before playing the game, users have to specify a unique username and a password, which ensures his account and regularly update his database.

Player: It is a user who plays the game.

Game selection: The mode of the game has to be selected, once a user has logged in. It consists of two types:

  • Single end mode
  • LAN game mode

Single end mode: Demo game which helps the new players to learn this game.

LAN game mode: In this mode an actor has to play on his own, with the player on another system which is connected through Local Area Network.

Score: Points scored by player in a match.

Result: The outcome of the match, which includes winner in a match, total score of the players and the time taken to beat a player.

2.3 Overview

The implementation of the project begins when a user logs into the game. The user has to select the mode of the game. If he’s new to the game, he can learn the art of Chennemane in the Training mode. When he’s well into it, then he can play the match in Real mode. After the match, the result will be displayed and stored on his database. When a player beats the current top score, an SMS alert will be sent to the previous record holder and provokes him to reclaim his old record.

2.4 Product Perspective:

The Chennemane game project will provide a new dimension in the computer gaming sector. This will help the urban people in learning a folk game without the aid of the traditional board and coins. When a user plays the game, his score will be stored in the database and display the scores of current players during the course of play.

The proposed project will implement the Chennemane game on PC and helps to play the game without using the traditional board and coins.

2.5 System Interface

External Interface Requirements

 User interface: User Interface is designed in a user friendly manner.  And the user has to move the coins, for which the interface will require keyboard and Mouse.

 Hardware Interface: Modem.

  Software Interface: The front end application is ASP.NET, C# for user   for getting information about item and placing the orders. In the Back End, for maintaining the data in database Microsoft SQL Server 2005 as the back end.

Communication Interface: TCP/IP

Functional Requirements

Module: We have 2 levels of user:

  • Admin
  • Player

Login Module: In this module, when a new player wants to     play the game, he can make registration through this.

Reports: It is the result which is stored on the database after the completion of the match.

Alerts: Alerts are the messages sent to the player whose record will be beaten by another player.

2.6 User Characteristics

We are having two levels of users:

  • Admin:
  • He can view the users’ account
  • He can delete the user account.
  • Players:
  • He can play the game only after he creates an account by logging into it.
  • He can view his own score and the ‘highest score’ only.

Assumptions and dependencies

All the data entered will be correct and up-to-date. The Browser and operating system will support the System and the DOTNET frame work.

Performance Requirements:

There are no other Performance requirements.

System Attributes: The software requires certain minimum configurations like 20 GB HDD, Dual Speakers or headphone, 2.6 GHZ processor and minimum of 512MB RAM will be sufficient at the client end.

     There are no other requirements.

According to the research the mobile technologies are increasingly growing in India and all over the world. Our Project is the Mobile healthcare system is the mobile based health care system which consists of a number of mobile devices and sensors attached to a patient. This system provides a complete end-to-end platform for patient monitoring. The mobile  sensor network will assemble data and it will send to the hospital or healthcare center for monitoring.

  • It enables providers to remotely manage business and it reduces cost and increase the quality list of patients.
  • Bring patient information to point of care and it reduces the need of transporting patients between house and hospital.
  • Provide healthcare professionals with real-time information on demand
  • Avoid duplication of healthcare services
  • Enable proactive and efficient patient care
  • Reduce time required to capture, review, and manage patient information

Modules of the Project:

User Verification

User verification is needed for every system to keep security and for any other misuses. Each authorized user will have a user-id /name and a password for login. This is directly giving from the system admin or manager to the users who are authorized. The users want to follow some rules and conditions while using the system, and any misbehave will lead to block of particular user-id/name.

Wearable Devices

A wearable medical device can be described as an autonomous, non-invasive system that performs a specified medical action or operation, such as monitoring or support, in collaboration with other devices in a network. The primary functions of wearable sensors normally include physiological monitoring, information storage, data transmission and instruction receiving. These devices can be directly attached to either the human body or a piece of clothing, and they thus support continuous patient monitoring. We are going to simulate each and every sensor as assuming the sensor and inserting data manually.

Data Transmission

Unlike traditional hospital management schemes, where most patients only can access medical care or monitoring in a particular place at a specific time, current healthcare equipment can provide continuous monitoring of patients, as well as maximal mobility for them. Here, data communications rely on wireless channels instead of wires. However, mobility takes difficulty for data exchange as well because the requirements of the deployment of a number of infrastructures are able to increase the cost of mobile healthcare systems. We are going to simulate with maximum of five systems and it will be in wired technology.

Trust Evaluation module

Trust is defined as “the degree to which a node should be trustworthy, secure, or reliable during any interaction with the node”. The concept of trust has been introduced into mobile healthcare security with wide application in the realm of network and information security.

Mobile healthcare system

Mobile healthcare (m-healthcare) is an important research direction for the application of wireless communications in healthcare systems. Therefore, many wireless technologies, including IEEE 802.11, Bluetooth, and Wife, are used to form wireless local area networks (WLAN) and connect to the Internet. Mobile networks not only provide mobility to patients, but also allow physicians so they can access patients’ data anytime and anywhere. Combination of given four modules makes a mobile health care system.

Property Module: In this module, we are going to do property entry, property update, property delete and property search.

Match Module:

  1. Property Match: In this module, whatever property matches for client that will be showing.
  2. Client Match: In this module, whatever client matches for property that will be showing.

Report Module: In this module, we generate report for client, agent, owner,builder and property.

Create User Module: In this module is used for only for Admin purpose for creating user and for that particular user provide the Authentications.

USER CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Administrator: The administrator is a super user and he has complete control over all activities the can be performed.
  • Staff/Other: Staff has the limited authentication for this user.

The existing software like college information system and student information system does not supports the data management system as per the requirements of professional governing boardies such as NBA, AICTE, MHRD or government agencies. Also it does not supports data analysis and report generation. The existing system does not fulfills the requirements that is actually needed by a technical institution also the existing systems does not allows for information to be presented in ready to submit format for the professional boardies such as NBA, AICTE, MHRD or government agencies.

This new system mainly concentrates on managing student report generation. Using this system we can update all the information about a institution and generate the reports whenever u request. 

Users of the system:

This system is mainly meant for the admin and user information in colleges. There the 2 types of users:

  • Admin
  • User

Admin is the super user of the system. He/she is able update user information or issues to the    database and enrollment of users, assign subjects to staff and database management. user can  generate reports that of the students and also can update the information

This is the student project titled Point of Sale System (POS) is simple, powerful, user friendly Desktop POS solution developed using C#.NET. This project stores sales, purchase, stock and billing reports. This project created in MVC structure. This is common software for small business companies sales and inventory system. This software can be integrated with Cash register machine, Payment gateway, Printers, etc. The system generates Billing receipt for customers.

  • The admin can view various kinds of report. He can view daily report, monthly report, Yearly report, and he can enter customized date to check purchase, sales, stock report.

Restaurant is the kind of business that serves the people all over the world through the ready made foods. Usually when we go to the restaurants we see the employees or the waiters who come near the tables of the customers to ask for the orders. Due to some misunderstanding by the employees there might be a chance of getting dish that was not ordered. Sometimes when there is a rush in the restaurants there is a chance of customers going back due to the unavailability of the tables even if they it is present in some or the other corner. To solve all these problems, the restaurant management database project can be useful.

The restaurant management database project will help in managing the day to day activities of the restaurant easily. The employees will be able to manage the orders placed by the customers through this system since the priority can be given to the orders that have been placed. The list of food items and the beverage list can be maintained in this database. The employees will able to locate for any empty table that is present in the restaurant.  Apart from providing food facility in the restaurant, there is also facility where the food can be ordered online and it will be delivered to their homes directly on time. To deliver the items there will be delivery boys. Each delivery boy will be assigned each area in which he can deliver the food that has been ordered. A delivery boy can have only a single area where he can deliver the food. He will not be able to deliver the food items that are not assigned to home. The customer record can also be maintained in this system. There can be premium discounts be provided to the customer if he has ordered food online maximum number of times.

Blood is the life of every human being. Without the flow of the blood in the body, the human beings cannot survive. Some organizations and the hospitals organize the blood donations campaigns where the people come forward to donate their blood. This blood will be useful for the people who will be in need of the blood at the time of emergency situations. These bloods will be given to the nearby blood banks which will be having the collection of different groups of blood. In order to keep the record of the information of the people by whom the blood was donated and to whom it was useful, this blood donation system database project will play a major role in this situation.

Sometimes the information regarding the donor will not be available since it will not be kept by the people or the organizations that had conducted the blood donations campaigns. It will be very useful to maintain the information since if anyone is urgently in need of the blood they can contact the donor. The donor information like donor name, his address, medical report, contact number will be stored in this system. The details of the patient like patient name, donor from whom he has got the blood, disease that he is suffering from, his medical report can be stored. The information of the blood bank, different groups of blood available, blood bank address, contact number etc can be stored. In case of emergency situations, the blood may not be available in the blood banks. At that situation, if the contact number of the donor is known then it will be easy for the people to contact him and ask for the help in donating the blood if he is available. So this project will help in storing different information that is necessary in storing the details related to the blood donation.
